Metal Blade signs Sweden's KING OF ASGARD

Metal Blade Records has announced the signing of the Swedish viking folk/death metal band, KING OF ASGARD.

KING OF ASGARD is currently recording its as-yet-untitled debut album at Sonic Train studios in Varberg, Sweden with Andy La Rocque ( KING DIAMOND) at the helm.

Commented KING OF ASGARD in a statement: "KING OF ASGARD are very proud being signed under the banners of Metal Blade Records. Releasing records under such influential label will be an honour and we feel our seeing what this can bring us. So teaming up with Brian, Andreas and the rest of the Blade staff is something we're easily throwing ourselves into and we're eagerly devoted on getting our debut out and heads rolling. Let's see if we can create a winter of three!"

Swedens No. 1 rock band SONIC SYNDICATE has issued the following statement:

"The time has once again arrived for all of us in Sonic Syndicate to unleash a new album on the world. Just a short time ago we burned down your city and now we're back with full force to announce that WE RULE THE NIGHT. Over the last few months we've been working on the artwork for our new album - coming out on May 28th, 2010 - with our good friend Gustavo Sazes. Hassle Records signs Japan's FACT + UK tour dates

British label, Hassle Records, has signed a record deal with Japanese alternative rockers, FACT! FACT return with their new album 'In The Blink Of An Eye', including lead track 'Slip Of the Lip'.
