HOUSE VS HURRICANE "Perspectives" Tour

THE “PERSPECTIVES” TOUR featuring: HOUSE VS HURRICANE, ANTAGONIST AD, MARY JANE KELLY, and SKYWAY.

HOUSE VS HURRICANE available in Australia and New Zealand on March 5th through Shock Records, Perspectives’ melding of aggression and ambience will be one of the most anticipated Australian releases of the year.

Along for the ride will be New Zealand’s most road-hardened metalcore exports Antagonist AD, who will be gracing our shores for the first time since the 2009 Sike Your Mind Tour. This will be your last chance to catch the group before they head home to commence writing and recording their follow-up to 2008’s We Are The Dead!

Wollongong’s Mary Jane Kelly will also be launching their debut album (Like There’s No Tomorrow through Trial & Error Records) this March. Having just toured nationally on the annual Boys Of Summer jaunt – as well supporting everyone from Set Your Goals to Parkway Drive – Mary Jane Kelly are a welcome addition to the Perspectives tour.

Rounding out this already bill is Gold Coast pop-punk outfit Skyway, who will be coming off a slew of high profile shows and supports, including No Fun At All and Heroes For Hire.

House vs. Hurricane sign to Shock Records + new album!

Official Press Release:

House Vs Hurricane have recently signed a deal with Australia's largest independent, Shock Entertainment, and will release "Perspectives" in Australia and New Zealand on March 5th.

Like any young band, House VS Hurricane started as an idea amongst friends, a way to create something that themselves wanted to hear.

Fast forward two years and House VS Hurricane have grown from a promising local talent to one of the most acts in Australian heavy music today. After accompanying Bullet For My Valentine (UK) on their sold out Australian trek in January 2009, House VS Hurricane went on to perform at the Melbourne leg of the mammoth Soundwave Fest supporting Misery Signals, The Devil Wears Prada, and our very own Parkway Drive.

2009 also saw the band headline two of their own sold out national tours before departing for the US to record wit producer Brian McTernan, who has worked with everyone from Thrice and Hot Water Music to Circa Survive and Darkest Hour. The end result is House VS Hurricane’s stunning debut full-length, "Perspectives".

Both newcomers and fans of the group’s debut EP, "Forfeiture" – which has sold just shy of 4,000 copies with limited distribution – will be impressed by the juxtaposition of unbridled heaviness and ambience that is displayed across "Perspectives" twelve-tracks, a sound that is often attempted but rarely executed with this much success.
