Ace Enders' music project I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business will release The World We Know on March 23rd, letting fans choose their own price.

I would like to thank everyone for the overwhelmingly positive response when the record accidentally went up for .99 cents last night. It was not intended for the record to come out yesterday, or for it to be that price. I have no idea how the mistake happened, but crazy things happen sometimes. I know there were A LOT of people who ended up buying it and I really appreciate it. Unfortunately the record has to go back up to the regular price for us to be able to get out of the debt that self releasing a record has put us in. But here is what we're going to do to make up for the mistake that happened last night. Next Monday March 22nd, the day before the scheduled release, we will be putting the record up so that anyone can download it and pay whatever they want for it. This way you can pay whatever you want, whether it be one dollar or fifty dollars. I always wanted to do something like this and I guess this is the universe's way of giving me the opportunity to do so. I wish we could keep it up for .99 cents forever, but we just can't afford to do it like that. Thanks so much for caring and supporting. I'm sorry for the confusion. Also, the record that went up last night was one long track, but the version available next week will be individual tracks.

Thanks,
Ace

Studio Video: AFTER THE BURIAL recording new album

www.myspace.com/aftertheburial

Tragic Hero will release Us From Outside's debut album on 4/27

In Fall 2009, Philadelphia's US FROM OUTSIDE recorded their debut album Inspired By The Threat Of Failure with producer Joey Sturgis. Their music is infused with bilingual lyrics harsh and melodic vocals, flamenco guitars, tribal drums and salsa inspired bass lines. It is the perfect blend of Hispanic flavor coupled with Rock and Metal. The band’s Latin roots run deep with a strong Spanish speaking following that many hard rock bands have not achieved. Lead singer Chris Machado had the following to say about signing with Victory, “I'm honored to be a part of the Victory Records family. They are a great label with a historic roster and we couldn't be happier. Having them on our side is amazing.”

ILL NINO formed in 1999 and has since sold 800,000+ albums over the course of four releases; 2001’s “Revolution…”, 2003’s “Confession”, 2005’s “One Nation Underground”, and 2008’s “Enigma”. Drummer and band founder Dave Chavarri said, “We're totally psyched that we are now working with Victory Records. The first Ill Nino release on Victory will be brutal, angry, tribal, percussive, dark, and full of hooks!” Four of their singles have charted in the Top 20 at Active Rock radio. ILL NINO has toured the United States, Australia, Canada, Europe Japan, Russia and South America with the likes of Linkin Park, Godsmack, Korn and Sevendust performing over 1,100 times establishing the last decade. The band will enter the studio in April for a late summer album release.

www.myspace.com/illnino

A year in the making, the second effort from Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins and his Coattail Riders, Red Light Fever, is now scheduled for an April 20 release on Shanabelle/RCA Records.

Hawkins began demoing tracks on his own when an early 2009 break from the Foo Fighters' grueling touring schedule finally freed up the time. According to Hawkins, who of course provides drums and vocals on all tracks among other additional instrumentation, "About halfway through, I just said f**k it, I don't care if the record ends up sounding like me having sex with my record collection. I'm just going to have fun with it."

The record soon went from a home recording project like the Coattail Riders' 2006 debut (which was recorded in Foo Fighters touring percussionist Drew Hester's living room) to full on sessions at the Foo Fighters' state of the art 606 studio complex. Hawkins was joined by returning Coattail Riders Chris Chaney (bass) and Gannin Arnold (guitar) and, for the first time in the studio, touring Coattails guitarist Nate Wood. As the record's dozen songs were fleshed out, so too was its stellar supporting cast, which would eventually come to include Elliot Easton of the Cars, Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen, and last but by no means least, Hawkins' bandmate Dave Grohl.

Red Light Fever could be considered a labor of love - if the sheer joy exuded in every note, influence and nuance of every song didn't make the entire affair seem so effortless. Hawkins' increasingly accomplished vocals and world renowned drumming skills recall and pay tribute to Hawkins' vast spectrum of classic rock heroes - from the vintage 70s glam stomp of "Way Down," the hard rock rave up "Not Bad Luck," a nod to Beatlesque balladry in the form of "Hell To Pay," and many more. Virtually every track evokes memories of the respective heydays of the Chinn-Chapman hit factory, The Move, Sweet, and even a little 10cc for good measure - all imbued with Hawkins' unmistakable musical personality.

www.taylorhawkins.com
www.myspace.com/taylorhawkinsandthecoattailriders

March is Metal Month; new sales from Amazon

As you already know, March is Metal month. The long-awaited follow-up to 2007's hard-hitting breakout album Horizons was written in the band's hometown of Byron Bay over the past six months and will be recorded in Los Angeles with celebrated producer Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Bad Religion) over the coming weeks.

Determined to surpass previous efforts, Parkway Drive have gone all out in creating a complete listening experience. While maintaining the band's trademark sound at its core, their forthcoming album will weave music, lyrics and artwork together into a dense concept that flows from beginning to end.

"Writing with a concept in mind has given us more direction," explains Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall. "Every song on this album was created with a definite purpose, as opposed to just writing a riff and building on that."
While McCall concedes the album's basic narrative - the tale of a man lacking direction in life who goes looking for answers at the bottom of the sea - is "kind of bizarre," he says the concept was flexible enough to open itself up to many far-reaching ideas.

"The ocean is where I find the most clarity," says the former bodyboard champion. "To go to the beach and sink into the water, the sound cuts out and you can just forget about everything. So I guess the concept is about cutting out everything and focusing on what's inside yourself."

Parkway Drive's achievements are unmatched in Australian heavy music circles. After two huge-selling albums, 2004's Killing With A Smile and 2007's Horizons (the latter achieving Top 6 chart success in Oz), last year's Parkway Drive: The DVD was met with a typically rabid response. It debuted at #2 on the ARIA chart and achieved Platinum status within weeks. By year's end it was Australia's biggest selling local artist DVD and was crowned ‘Best Music DVD' at the 2009 Rolling Stone Awards. US fans are taking notice as constant global touring has helped cement Parkway Drive's reputation as one of the most dominant exponents of heavy hardcore in the world today.

Having recorded their first two albums with Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage), the forthcoming album finds Parkway Drive turning to seasoned veteran Joe Barresi. Known for his work with big-league rock acts including Queens of the Stone Age, Bad Religion and Tool, Barresi will handle the recording and mix at his home studio, JHOC (Joe's House of Compression) in Los Angeles, before renowned mastering engineer Brian Gardner (Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb of God, Nine Inch Nails) applies the finishing touches in Hollywood.

By that time Parkway Drive should be back on the road again. First stop is Europe and the UK throughout April and May, where they'll play their biggest headlining dates so far, before they make their anticipated return to the US for this summer's Vans Warped Tour.

Already top of the most hotly anticipated heavy releases of 2010, their forthcoming album promises to be a new and exciting chapter in the story of Australia's most successful metal-hardcore band.

"This is the heaviest thing we've written, and at the same time the catchiest," McCall warns. "And while we always want to keep the definitive Parkway Drive sound, there are a couple of things that will hopefully add another dimension to what we do."

Parkway Drive US Tour Dates:
Jun 25 - Carson, CA - Home Depot Center (Warped Tour)
Jun 26 - Mountain View, CA - Shoreline Amphitheatre (Warped Tour)
Jun 27 - Ventura, CA - Seaside Park (Warped Tour)
Jun 29 - Phoenix, AZ - Cricket Pavilion (Warped Tour)
Jun 30 - Las Cruces, NM - N.M.S.U.
